While banks, development corporations and aid agencies focus on scale relief and development projects, many groups and charities small scale local support for disadvantaged communities, the HEED Association is one such initiative which aims to employ low cost, sustainable solutions to improve the lives of isolated communities supporting education initiatives training and water and sanitation projects.

Features Mattoo Government Primary School As part of HEED Association's ongoing efforts to restore the lives of 2010 flood victims, HEED started the construction of a school shelter in Mattoo village of Neelum Valley that was washed away by the floods.
